Last year my girlfriend and I decided to go on a more-less-spontaneous trip to Croatia. I can tell it was a great decision! We ended up in a small but beautiful town called Cavtat, very close to the well-known city of Dubrovnik, that one where the famous series Game of Thrones was filmed (at least some part of it).

We rented a car so we could easily move to Dubrovnik and even go to Montenegro on a day-trip, stopping at different towns and getting to see incredible landscapes all the way down to Kotor.

The water was crystal clear. The air was fresh and energizing. The sunsets were colourful and captivating. And the cities were astonishing! Completely recommended to go on a trip to this gem of a region. Especially if you go with your couple, it happens to be a romantic place that enchants anyone who goes.
